| Vanessa is a 5 year old black Missouri Foxtrotter mare by WGC Frisco Cappuccino who is just a delight to be around. Her pedigree goes back to Mack K's Yankee, Missouri Traveler E, Graham's KoKo, Black Rex E, Pride of Princess, Lady Anne, and Golden Governor. Vanessa is now under saddle and on the trails and she is even better than I expected. She is unflappable, calm, confident, and moves with amazing rhythm. She does a beautiful and totally natural foxtrot, a very comfortable running walk, and a fabulously balanced canter. And, as an added bonus, she knows how to bow! Thank you Susie Jeffery of Canon Creek Ranch for the opportunity to purchase this exceptional filly. Bred to Toy Boy and delivered a gorgeous dark chestnut filly in 2007. | Starlight Blue is a 7 year old True Blue Roan mare who has an added frosting to her roan pattern.. This makes her look more like a grey horse but neither of her parents carry the grey gene. You can see the extra roaning she carries in her face and legs. She also tends to be lighter than the roans that do not carry this extra patterning. You can still see the black points, along with the classic inverted V to her black leg markings, but again, she has more roaning there too. This mare will never turn white like a grey horse would, and she changes colors with the seasons like a true Roan does. Starlight is the daughter of Tim and Jen Myer's red roan mare, Ellie. This mare is known for her gentle and willing attitude and is consistent in passing this onto her offspring. Ellie has done it again with this mare! Starlight stands between 14.3H and 15H. She arrived rather thin, so we have been fattening her up a bit. She still has more filling out and shaping to do, but you can get an idea of her potential from her pictures. She is under saddle and is smart, responsive, and very sweet and willing. She has nice extension and is smooth in her foxtrot, running walk, and canter. She also racks! My trainer is impressed with how well she uses her body and how nice her mind is! Starlight has had two babies, both buckskin roans, and comes from a line of strong roan producers. We plan on breeding her in the near future and I enjoyed riding her all winter! Her bloodlines go back to Zane Grey, Charmin Charlie, Major L, Merry Boy, and Midnight Sun. VJ's Blues Glowing Ember
Ember is a yearling deep red chestnut filly, born here
on our farm. She is extemely smart, like her Dam
Vanessa (pictured above), has a natural foxtrot, and is
very athletic. Not the blue roan that I had wanted, but
hey, can't deny the beauty of a great red horse! grin
and Ember is a GREAT horse. She has fire in her soul,
and yet still retains the gentleness of a great Fox
Trotter. This filly will leave her hay every morning to lay
her head on my shoulder and get her scratches and
lovin's. Watch for more as she grows. We have great
expectations of this little filly. Her sire is our favorite
Foxvangen's Toy Boy.
